AutismCare Nepal Society begins campaign for inclusion of Autism in National Census 2078. Autism is going to be included in the National Census of Nepal for the first time. As inception of the program ACNS organized the interaction program with Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS) of Nepal and among concerned stakeholders at Alfa Beta Complex, Naya Baneshwor on 24th Asoj 2078/10th October 2021. During the Program Mr. Dhundi Raj Lamichhane, Director of CBS, performed the presentation on National Census as well as gave his valuable recommendation for inclusion of autism in this national census. Mr. Ramesh Lama, Senior Vice President of National Federation of Disabled Nepal (NFDN) give his remarks that It’s not just enough to aware the disability fraternity but whole community should be aware about the issues and need to address all. Dr. Sunita Maleku Amatya, Chairperson of ACNS shared the importance of National Census for the Autism Community so we all should be responsible to include autism in this census. The program was hosted by Mr. Surendra Bajracharya, Chief Administrator of ACNS.
