Overview

AutismCare Nepal Society (ACNS) has been in a long-term partnership with MyRight, with support from Sida since 2013. This collaboration focuses on strengthening the rights, inclusion, and participation of persons with autism in Nepal, in line with the CRPD. For the period 2026–2028, the partnership aims to create sustainable impact through three key areas:

Empowerment

Strengthening the capacity of parents and caregivers to better support individuals with autism in daily living, communication, and independence.

Organisational Development

Enhancing ACNS’s internal systems, governance, policies, sustainability to ensure effective, transparent, and accountable service delivery.

Advocacy

Promoting inclusive policies and practices by engaging with local governments, raising awareness, and using evidence to influence decision-making.

This partnership builds on over a decade of experience and focuses on consolidating proven approaches; including family support, vocational engagement, teacher training, and local-level advocacy.
