Sachin Shrestha

Er. Sachin Shrestha serves as a Board Member and Treasurer of Autism Care Nepal Society (ACNS), contributing to strategic planning and financial governance. He is an Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering and Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Nepal Engineering College, with over 18 years of academic and professional experience. He is currently pursuing a PhD at Kathmandu University (KU), focusing on the application of emerging technologies in education and assistive systems. His research interests include artificial intelligence, augmented and mixed reality, and their application in supporting children with autism. He has authored more than 20 national and international publications and holds international US patents. Actively involved in research, conferences, and student mentorship, Mr. Shrestha is committed to leveraging technology for inclusive education and empowering individuals with autism.
